We are looking for a Tax Director- based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. This role is critical in our organization, primarily responsible for overseeing corporate tax compliance and planning. You'll be heavily involved in tax return preparation, federal income tax compliance, and other tax-related duties. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those with a knack for tax management in the corporate setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Lead the corporate income tax compliance process, ensuring adherence to federal and state tax regulations.

• Manage the preparation and filing of federal income tax returns, minimizing liabilities while ensuring compliance with the law.

• Handle federal tax return preparation, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and submitted on time.

• Oversee the administration of federal tax duties, ensuring the organization remains in good standing.

• Manage the preparation and filing of gift tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.

• Regularly review and update the company's tax strategies, ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with other departments to provide tax advice and planning aligned with corporate strategies.

• Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure the company's ongoing compliance.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and regulatory agencies.

  Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the role of a Tax Director

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Individual Tax Returns is essential.

• Must have extensive knowledge and experience in Income Tax Compliance.

• Expertise in preparing Federal Income Tax Returns is a requirement.

• Must possess a deep understanding of Federal Tax Returns preparation.

• Experience with Federal Tax is necessary.

• Knowledge of Gift tax laws and procedures is required.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.

• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is highly desirable.

• Must have a strong understanding of tax codes and laws.

• Proficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

• Must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion is required.
