Job Description

A fortune 500 client is looking for a talent Staff Software Engineer to join their team. The Staff Software Engineer is responsible for leading a team of engineers building and designing a product that customers and associates love. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Staff Software Engineers will assist in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring. Staff Software Engineers contribute to foundational code elements that can be reused as well as architectural diagrams and other product-related documentation. This candidate will be a core player on the product team and expected to build and grow the skillsets of the more junior Engineers.

Compensation:

$60/hr to $65/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience

   - 80% Frontend/20% Backend - Angular/java

     Java 11+, Spring, Spring boot

     Angular 9+, RxJS

     Need to be working on the newer angular and java versions

   - Well versed code owner

     Will need to review and approve code

   - Teaching skills, mentorship, leadership skills

     Most of the mentoring and collaboration will come from servicing other teams

Experience teaching junior engineers and coordinating their work - NGRX null
