Role description:

Arcadis is seeking Sr. Railroad Wastewater Engineer to join our Industrial Water team in our Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN office.

The role is client-facing Project Manager/Engineer working directly with the client and team both as project manager and project engineer leading and responsible for project delivery through the complete project cycle: assessment, design, and construction assistance.

Role accountabilities:

In this role, you will work directly with the client and team both as project manager and project engineer leading and responsible for project delivery through the complete project cycle in the planning, preliminary and final design, and construction of industrial wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pump/lift stations as well as creating construction documents, specifications, and providing engineering services during construction. Lead preparation of detailed engineering calculations and analysis Complete design tasks within budget and on schedule Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates and other project documentation Support the work of others and mentor junior-level engineers and design/drafting technical staff Work directly, with clients to determine needs and provide solutions Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards

This role requires strong leadership skills; including experience managing project delivery, prioritization of tasks, coordination with design disciplines, along with managing project budget and schedule. Flexibility to work with a variety of project teams locally and across remote offices including the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience in the wastewater field Project experience including design and construction of industrial or municipal wastewater treatment facilities; focused on expansion, rehabilitation, and retrofit Experience in development of project drawings, technical specifications, project schedules and cost estimates Experience or desire for client facing role with skills to include preparation and development of proposals, managing client expectations and overall relationship.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $97600- $146400.
