Home Depot Sr. Manager, Analytics and Insights Atlanta, Georgia

Position Purpose:

The Sr. Manager, Analytics & Insights will be responsible for development of dashboards and high-level tooling that enables partner teams to strategic plan and analyze online programs. This individual would develop a portfolio of reporting and analytics tools for assortment, pricing & supplier analytics to create a single source of truth for their team.

The Sr. Manager, Analytics & Insights will be responsible for evaluating the available data suite of products and identifying and sourcing new offerings as needed. Responsible for analyzing data to identify opportunities across all depts and providing recommendations to senior leadership. Utilizes online tools and capabilities to ensure multi team alignment.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • 40% Drive consistent category-level strategy planning with SS team: development of concise reporting results for Online Merch team​

  • 20% Responsible for the development of standard reporting tools, supervising data collection and reporting distribution​

  • 20% Partner with cross-functional teams to identify relevant data sources and capture accurate data​

  • 20% Manage work activities and provide development of direct reports ​

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Position reports to Senior Director, Supplier Scalability

  • Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. In addition to personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Online and/or Retail Store Experience. Both preferred.

  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret complex data from varying sources.

  • Experience with relational databases. Epiphany and/ or Omniture preferred.

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
