Establish and drive procurement of direct materials and services in alignment with Business Leadership. You will be leading the Procurement activities of FIRE GBE and develop and execute procurement Annual Operating Plans and Strategic Plans. You will be working closely with FIRE business leadership team to enable business strategy, deliver on financial commitments and build supplier partnership to help deliver differentiated value to customers by securing supply, bringing supplier driven innovation and driving lowest Total cost of ownership. You will develop and oversee the Supplier Performance system to support your business, ensure supply continuity and reduce working capital. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.

THE POSITION

As a Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the procurement strategy and initiatives to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and establish strong supplier relationships. Your expertise in strategic sourcing and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving business growth and competitiveness.

You will report directly to our VP & CPO of Building Automation business group and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the business through the delivery of cost savings, working capital improvement, material availability and supplier quality. You will be responsible for developing and executing annual and strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute Annual & Strategic Plan

  • Ensure alignment to Business

  • Growth Initiatives & New Product Introductions

  • Manage Category and Commodity teams and Strategies

  • Build a world-class workforce that creates competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent

  • Align with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other Honeywell Businesses

  • Improve sourcing processes / performance with effective management operating system

  • Lead Organizational effectiveness and Budget through efficiency

  • Communicate key procurement metrics at various monthly, quarterly and annual reports and meetings

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management

  • Extensive electrical/electronic commodity experience

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing procurement strategies

  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

  • Knowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcing platforms

  • International experience with exposure to high-growth regions

  • Cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing

WE VALUE

  • Extensive experience in Strategic Sourcing, preferably involving products with significant electronics content.

Master’s Degree

  • Complex and Large Project Management and/or Contract Management and / or Procurement transformation Experience

  • Professional Certifications in Project / Supply Chain/ Procurement / Contract Management

  • Global Leadership experience in Supply Management / Sourcing/ Procurement / Business

  • Demonstrated Business and financial acumen

  • Experience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools

  • International experience with exposure to High Growth Regions

  • Cross functional experience at the interfaces of engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing
