Performs a wide variety of law-related tasks under the direction of attorneys or Supervising Paralegal.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze legal information, perform legal research, investigate facts, draft pleadings, and motions, and prepare legal documents and reports.

• May specialize in certain areas of law, such as tax law. Investigate and research moderately complex legal matters.

• Prepare legal documents that require an advanced legal knowledge of specific subject areas.

• Assists legal organization in acquiring the information and data needed to prepare for hearings, closings, trials, and corporate meetings.

• May attend possible court hearings and represent company in administrative role.

• Assist attorneys in all phases of employment and commercial litigation and administrative agency matters.

• Perform legal research, investigate facts, draft pleadings and motions, collect documents and information, and prepare legal documents that require an advanced legal knowledge of specific subject areas.

• May represent company before administrative agencies.

• Candidates must be organized, detailed oriented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to prioritize, and work independently.

• Litigation and employment experience required.

• Commercial litigation preferred.

Education:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.

• Certification may be required.

Experience:

• 3 or more years of related experience or 0 to 2 years of related experience with Bachelors degree.

Supervisory:

• No.
