Home Depot Senior Specialist, Content Art Direction in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Purpose:

Senior Specialist, Content Art Direction role is responsible for developing and creating digital content associated with still, live or computer-generated imagery (includes a single sourced image or content consisting of a combination of photography, video, CGI, and animation). This role utilizes a variety of creative talents and skills based on experience, working closely with creative services project managers and producers to create these digital assets. The role also acts as a creative liaison between our internal brand/marketing teams and merchants, and our external creative teams at various studios and media agency partners, to direct and oversee creative ideas derived from a collaborative vision. The role utilizes critical thinking and innovative thought leadership to develop the creative needed; to build customer trust, support all media marketing, increase brand recognition, and drive sales results for the company. This role is also expected to use unique communication skills based on technical knowledge, to deliver presentations and creative problem-solving capabilities that champion successful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 30% Collaboration - Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with company goals and brand standards

  • 70% Strategy & Execution - Guides the company's creative strategy by managing the development and production of creative content Uses discretion, independent judgment, and creativity to make key decisions to successfully deliver assets for multiple cross-channel projects Responsible for utilizing acquired experience and creative expertise, to elevate the brand, overcome challenges, and ensure delivered assets meet the marketing objective scope of work

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in creative styling/art directing in a photography and/or video medium

  • Knowledge and experience in developing creative concepts and executing brand vision

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to oversee projects across multi-channel business platforms

  • Ability to work in fast-paced agile environment

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
