Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Quantitative Analytics Specialist in Atlanta, GA.

Job Role and Responsibility: Development of complex models for commercial loss, balance and income forecasting working with large data sets, advanced statistical models, and building Python/SAS/other codes to effectively and efficiently implement models under a production environment. Develop analytics around model results for enhancing forecast performance. Understand the trends within loan portfolios, their impact on model performance, and quantify the risks not captured by models via qualitative adjustments. Support analyses to a variety of audiences, including end users, management, regulators, and review groups. Support business and enterprise initiatives such as new product / market introductions and forecasting for climate change risk across commercial portfolios. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for existing and newly developed models. Comply with model risk and internal controls policies and procedures ensuring all active models are properly validated, monitored and maintained for sustained use. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Travel required: None.

Required Qualifications: Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, Physics, or related technical field plus Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving an advanced scientific or mathematical field.

Specific skills required:

Experience with development of credit risk or loss forecasting models using industry standard techniques such as binary / multinomial logistic and linear regression;

Experience in Python or SAS programming and data manipulation using SQL;

Hadoop experience;

Machine learning experience;

Statistical model development experience;

Model design and performance experience; and

Evaluation testing experience.
