The Portfolio Strategy and Investments team is hiring a Senior Investment Analyst. The position will be based out of our Atlanta, GA office

The Senior Investment Analyst will lead and support key portfolio investment responsibilities:

• Conduct asset valuation and benchmarking of the company’s 11-million-acre timberland portfolio
• Conduct various valuation analyses for strategic timberlands transactions
• Support monitoring of industrial timberland markets to inform portfolio strategies
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate Asset Value Optimization alternatives

• Contribute to strategic financial initiatives across various internal teams

• BS/BA in Finance, Forestry, Real Estate, or related field(s)

• Master’s degree or significant progress toward Master’s degree preferred
• 3 years’ experience in valuation/strategic planning/consulting
• Experience with cash flow modeling to support business decisions
• Demonstrated understanding of core investment and valuation methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and SQL
• Experience with GIS systems such as ArcGIS
• Self-starter who is committed to team success and works well in a high-performing environment
• Acts with urgency and accountable for delivering high-quality work on-time
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong business analytical skills with ability to drill into details

What We Offer

Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $86,742 to $130,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement:Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
