Our Income Tax - Senior Associate will be responsible for assisting with the management of the Companys income tax function, including interim and annual income tax provisions, federal, state, and local tax compliance, and assistance with income tax notices and audits. The Income Tax - Senior Associate reports to the Income Tax Senior Manager and collaborates with the VP of Tax and other tax team members, internal departments, and interfaces with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance and minimize the tax burden of the Company. Responsibilities You Will be responsible for... In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of the Companys income tax function, including interim and annual income tax provisions, federal, state, and local tax compliance, and assistance with income tax notices and audits. The Income Tax - Senior Associates role will include, but not be limited to the following: Preparation/review of annual tax provisions to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ASC 740, including preparation of the tax footnote, deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances, APB 23, UTPs, SOX documentation, etc. Prepare income tax provisions for the quarterly financial statements, quarterly estimated payments and tax cash forecasts Oversee and direct tax return process for federal and state and local jurisdictions inclusive of quarterly estimated tax payment calculations, extensions, reportable transactions reporting, UTP schedules, etc. Prepare and analyze apportionment rates and supporting data Coordinate with International Tax Senior Manager to ensure all international tax relevant items (GILTI, FDII, Foreign Tax Credit, etc) are appropriately included in US tax return and provision Develop and implement tax planning strategies including domestic and international cash tax management, corporate transactions, and other tax considerations related to corporate strategy Prepare monthly analysis of all state income and franchise tax accounts Assist with calculations of estimated tax payments Follow up on state tax notices and support income tax audits Collaborate with accounting, legal, internal business units, as well as outside tax consultants to accomplish company objectives Manage tax audits and disputes with income tax authorities, including negotiating favorable settlements Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies Establish and maintain tax accounting processes and related internal controls The Benefits. . . Qualifications The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements): BS in Accounting or related, Masters in Tax preferred CPA preferred 2-5 years of prior public accounting experience or direct industry experience in corporate income tax, including tax accounting, tax provisions, and federal/state tax compliance Experience preparing interim and annual income tax provisions Experience preparing and filing federal and state income tax returns Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel Ability to exercise a degree of initiative, problem resolutions skills, and independent judgement Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it Ability to identify and focus on key priorities What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): Experience with automation software (Alteryx) Physical Demands / Working Environment: We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks.
