Waystar Senior Data Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are seeking a Project Manager, Data Analytics, to coordinate Business Intelligence projects across various teams. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical skills, including SQL, to support data analysts and ensure the successful execution of data-driven initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, facilitating cross-team collaboration, and driving the implementation of advanced analytics solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and oversee Data Analytics projects across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure effective communication and integration of efforts.

  • Utilize technical skills, particularly SQL, to support data analysts in their tasks and problem-solving.

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis and reporting.

  • Implement and maintain best practices for data management, analysis, and reporting.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

  • Lead project meetings and workshops to gather requirements, define objectives, and outline project scope.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and business intelligence.

  • Mentor and support data analysts in developing their technical skills and professional growth.

  • Organize and conduct training sessions or workshops to enhance the capabilities of the data analytics team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems (MIS), Business, or a related field.

  • 4-7 years of experience in Project Management or a mix of data analysis and project management.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.

  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Proven experience managing projects and coordinating efforts across multiple teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support the professional growth of other team members.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and oversight.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
