Americold Logistics LLC Senior Data Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Assist Americolds business leaders in their decision-making process via the generation and interpretation of data. Leverage creative thinking to analyze problems and framing statistical results in a business context. Transform user needs and functional designs/specifications into data dashboards and visualizations, perform data mining and predictive modeling, and maintain analysis throughout the various stages of development from proof-of-concept prototypes to functional software. Work closely with Functional/Systems Analyst to collect, organize, document, and execute high quality data cleaning/merging/analysis. Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and design data analysis and automation processes. Develop effective and informative reports and visualizations. Translate findings into business terms and actionable guidance. Create reports and data dashboards, including critical critics and KPIs that are visually appealing and simple to navigate to present findings to stakeholders. Create test plans, test files, and scripts for unit testing through integration testing. Perform testing as required and document results. Maintain and assure the accuracy and consistency of data integrity. Monitor and Audit data and processes daily to ensure data is complete and accurate. Understand business needs for data and translating into data specifications. Design and implement data analysis processes and develop data models. Provide ad-hoc and production reporting for business customers. Work with data engineers, data analysts, and data architects to improve the data management process and data quality across the data lifecycle. Track initiatives by monitoring progress towards meeting goals and achieving benchmarks by analyzing data and ensuring the follow-through of key players. Use statistical analysis and data visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and relationships in the data using concepts such as regression, time series, mixed model, Bayesian methods, clustering etc. and provide insights. Apply business driven mindset within the Supply Chain Data Analytics. Proactively analyze data using data management tools such as Excel and SQL to examine data patterns and answer key questions for business and IT stakeholders and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity. Provide interactive data analytics reports and visualization using PowerBI. Work in an Agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other engineers, and database administrators of all backgrounds and disciplines to bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of predicting behaviors.

Position requires a masters degree in industrial and systems engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field of study and one year of experience in the job or as a Business Intelligence Analyst performing similar job duties. Job located in Atlanta, GA and any unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. 40 hours per week. $90,958 to $112,736 per year.
