Google Program Manager II, Sourcing and Cost Management, Cloud Supply Chain in Atlanta, Georgia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience working in supply chain sourcing or procurement.

  • Experience with cost management and cost controls for supply chain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in supply chain or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience working with SQL, dashboards (Plx, Looker), data visualization.

  • Experience in management consulting focused on operational initiatives.

  • Experience in Supply chain areas such as supplier management, negotiation, or global operations.

The Global Commodity Management (“GCM”) team is responsible for maintaining a consistent sourcing process across commodities for new and sustaining builds. We set the foundation for supply assurance by driving supplier capacity planning and commercial terms that support flexibility and short lead times. We maintain and drive to targets for delivery performance, cost/savings management, and quality. We collaborate with customers, suppliers, and partners, while consistently being data-driven. We innovate by utilizing our industry knowledge and influence.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive methodology, governance and tracking for organizational performance indicators, results, accomplishments, challenges, and progress vs. OKRs.

  • Structure and execute operational initiatives by developing work plans, systems, gathering/synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing recommendations.

  • Lead process and productivity improvements using data analytics, AI, automation, and tooling capabilities. Drive closure of process gaps, and document standard operating procedures for organizational processes.

  • Provide support for business intelligence and cost management activities, which can include target setting, cost modelling, spend analysis, etc.

  • Support operational reviews and processes including executive readouts, action item tracking, annual planning processes, including strategy, headcount, budget, and workforce planning.
