How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Enterprise Payments is seeking a Product Leader to lead Delta’s payment strategy and experience. This position will lead execution of a multi-faceted payment roadmap that provides modern and excellent experiences for Delta’s customers, streamlines and standardizes payments across multiple internal and customer-facing applications, balances cost tradeoffs, and ensures compliance with industry and country mandates. This includes:
Partner with Payments Leadership and key stakeholders to lead execution of a shared roadmap that maximizes benefits for Delta and our customers
Manage complex, multi-phased deliverables and lead without authority, collaborating with internal and external partners, ensuring adequate prioritization, and removal of impediments
Analyze payments performance and identify improvement opportunities
Support investigation of production issues and pursue resolution based on impact
Communicate and build appropriate transparency at many different levels
Act as a critical resource and support for Delta’s IT teams, ensuring that the teams understand the business drivers and value of the payments roadmap
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
At least 4 years of relevant work experience in product management and/or complex project management
Experience in Enterprise payments, as a merchant product owner or directly via a payment service provider OR Airline industry product management
Strong business acumen, results-oriented and capable of working through impediments and meeting, or exceeding deadlines with attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Ability to work well with diverse groups in a fast-paced, changing environment with a high degree of initiative
Proven ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix setting
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, through both written and verbal communication
Strong analytical skills
Proven vendor management skills
Must be performing satisfactorily in present position
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
BA/BS or advanced degree in quantitative discipline such as Business Administration, Technology, Economics, Finance, or Data Analysis
Experience with data and analytics
Experience in both the payments and airline industries
