Overview
As Chick-fil-A Supply continues to scale, we must think strategically about our current capabilities and long-term goals to determine the best talent strategy to meet our growing business needs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Leader to support these capabilities and scale to meet these needs.
The L&D Leader will serve as the People leader of the Learning and Development Team. The L&D Leader will be responsible for designing, implementing, evaluating, and overseeing the management of comprehensive learning and development programs that support the professional growth of our employees and align with the strategic goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development, as well as a proven record of accomplishment of successfully managing a team and driving results to ensure our employees thrive and our business excels. In addition, the L&D Leader should possess strong collaboration and relational skills as they will partner with various departments and stakeholders to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

This subsidiary is in the early stages of development and is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants across the nation.
Responsibilities
Interfaces across all functional teams, proactively setting the vision, strategy, and direction for the suite of learning products that support the business
Responsible for understanding the unique challenges and desired outcomes of each functional team and creating a comprehensive learning strategy that drives performance and development
Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts across the organization to ensure alignment. Relies on capabilities such as organizational influence, negotiation, conflict management and collaboration to gain agreement
Possesses learning industry knowledge and experience to connect macro trends in learning strategy, audience-centric design, product management and performance to support Chick-fil-A Supply’s business goals
Determines and documents the detailed design needs and required learning content for all learning modalities
Converts complex topics and simplifies into digestible learning experiences that will support business objectives
Develops and/or acquires training and development to aid diversity, equity, inclusion, and retention initiatives
Develops and manages forecast and budget for learning products aligned to business function
Assists in the selection and oversight of vendor and/or agency partners and professionals to support field facing business initiative product work and deliver results
Create, deliver, and implement leadership, new hire, new to role and cross-functional training experiences and/or development and rotational programs
Monitor partner performance and attainment of contracted goals and outcomes
Establish tracking and measurement approach
Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for Staff, Team Members, and Leadership at distribution centers, adapting content as needed to meet specific requirements and challenges
Supports vertical business lines within Supply Chain
Travel to various distribution centers to conduct on-site assessments and support Talent initiatives as needed
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resource development, business, instructional/learning design, communications, or related field
Demonstrated experience and industry knowledge of learning strategy, audience-centric design, product management/ownership, performance support solutions and agile methodologies
Experience designing learning within multiple modalities (e.g., ILT, eLearning, video, job aids, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience developing and/or activating on diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies
Demonstrated experience and ability to influence, collaborate, negotiate, and obtain buy-in/alignment across multiple levels of an organization
Demonstrated problem solving, analytical thinking and consulting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other related computer programs
Experience with Adobe Creative products, including InDesign and other related programs
Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree
Extensive consulting experience in people practices or strategic planning
Experience leading workforce planning for a business unit or enterprise
Strong program or project management experience
Experience engaging in design thinking practices
Experience with a variety of Learning Management and/or Learning Content Management systems and platforms
Experience with Adobe Creative products, including InDesign and other related programs
Startup experience
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certified professional
