Power, Utilities & Renewables Test Lead Sr. Consultant

Role Description:
Lead overall solution and integration test planning, approach and execution
Implement and manage processes to ensure quality throughout the testing process.
Testing resource planning and management
Testing risk and issue management including resolution of issues that impede the test effort
Work closely with Product team to develop test approaches/methods to efficiently test the product solution
Oversee test case development and execution
Oversee the defect management process and coordinate with build teams for defect resolution and driving overall build quality improvements
Oversee reporting and tracking of test metrics including entry and exit criteria for test phases
Assess ongoing progress and effectiveness of testing against testing and quality plan
Qualifications
Required:
6+ years of relevant consulting or utility industry experience with real-time or utility planning solutions including (DER/Load Forecasting, DERMS, ADMS, OMS, DMS, D-SCADA, GIS, and /or EMS
6+ years of experience supporting and managing large Systems Integration engagements, including experience as Testing Lead
Experience in working with testing of electric distribution network model integrations
Experience in testing analytics involving SCADA, AMI, Weather and similar time series data
Travel 50% of the time
Bachelor's degree
Preferred:
Understanding of load and generation profile data testing
Understanding and working knowledge of ADMS, OMS
Advanced knowledge with testing strategy, planning and different aspects of testing such as SIT, UAT, FAT, SAT, Performance Testing, etc.
Familiar with testing tools (e.g. Azure ADO, HP ALM) & methods

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 to $209,000.
