WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Payroll Processor conducts all payroll and balancing related duties to ensure accurate team member payment, taxes, and deductions are compliant with payroll law, tax changes, state and federal labor laws, and company polices. Job duties include:

  • Process changes in rate of pay, team member Federal and State exemptions, personal information, and direct deposit and pay card information in the HR Information System (“HRIS”).

  • Produce and ship timekeeping materials, such as sign-in sheets.

  • Collect and track completed timekeeping material for each pay period.

  • Review timesheet exception reports and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.

  • Create payroll import and upload into HRIS.

  • Prepare batch balancing sheet for reconciliation to HRIS.

  • Provide reconciled batch balancing report and exception reports to manager for document retention.

  • Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile payroll to payroll register.

  • Work closely with field managers to resolve any payroll related issues.

  • Utilize multiple timekeeping systems to produce automated payroll import into core HRIS.

  • Process team member requests for statement of earnings.

  • Field incoming payroll phone calls and resolve team member pay issues associated with calls.

  • Research and submit vacation and sick pay balance adjustments to the supervisor for approval.

  • Research and submit pay adjustments related to previous errors or retroactive increases for approval.

  • Execute changes in HRIS and processes to comply with changes in tax and deduction laws researched by the Audit and Compliance departments.

  • Retain statistical reports, statements, registers, and summaries related to pay.

  • Distribute team member W-2’s.

  • Research and produce W-2c's.

  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end balancing and preparations.

  • Compile data for issuing off cycle checks and pay card loads.

  • Maintain pay card data in the HRIS.

  • Other duties as assigned.

YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (“GED”).

  • 1-2 years of related office experience.

  • Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook.

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • ADP Vantage Experience.

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
