ManpowerGroup Mainframe/Cobol Developer in Atlanta, Georgia

Our client, a Fortune 500 financial client is seeking a Mainframe/Cobol Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a technical skills and mainframe Development experience and Java skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mainframe/Cobol Developer

Location: Atlanta GA

Pay Range: Best in the segment on W2

What’s the Job?

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Payments and Wires processing systems.

  • Develop applications using Middleware technologies such as MQ, messaging, batch, and web services (REST/SOAP).

  • Utilize strong RDBMS experience including Oracle, SQL, and DB objects.

  • Work with midrange based systems, employing Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, J2EE, JBOSS, Oracle, and APIs.

  • Implement solutions in UNIX and LINUX environments using bash, Perl, and other toolsets.

What’s Needed?

  • 5+ years of relevant technology experience in development roles.

  • Proficiency in Middleware technologies and RDBMS (Oracle, SQL).

  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, J2EE, JBOSS, Oracle, and APIs.

  • Experience with Splunk, App Dynamics, AutoSys, Prognosis, and UPF preferred.

  • Knowledge of AIX, Mainframe, SUBJECT, COBOL, Python programming techniques is a plus.
