Position: Litigation Attorney (Hybrid)

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

Location: Hybrid (Remote/In-Office) after 90 days

Job Overview:

Due to growth, our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal services related to various aspects of municipal law, including procurement, zoning, economic development, and more. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in handling complex legal issues and delivering sound legal advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve intricate legal matters concerning procurement, municipal elections, zoning, economic development, public meetings, public records, ethics, local taxation, planning, business licenses, public works, transportation, municipal courts, bonds, local authorities, local districts, project management, and contracts.

• Prepare well-researched legal memos and offer legal advice.

• Analyze and interpret internal regulations, policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal laws.

• Draft, review, and ensure compliance of contracts and agreements with internal policies, as well as local, state, and federal laws.

• Evaluate and implement contract details and maintain documentation related to public policy matters.

• Draft, review, and interpret laws, ordinances, regulations, and resolutions. Handle open record requests efficiently.

• Independently manage complex transactional assignments with minimal assistance.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in the State Bar.

• Proven experience in litigation.

• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills.

• Strong understanding of state and federal laws.

• Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to clients.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
