Position Title: Leader, Benefits Health & Welfare

Location: Atlanta (Hybrid)

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Benefits

Provide the administration and professional support of a multi-state, comprehensive Health and Welfare benefits program to meet employee needs and align with business objectives. Effectively monitor and assist in employee benefits, including financial aspects of employee benefits administrations such a premium billing, Health Savings Account, and claims funding.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate annual open enrollment process for health and welfare plans, and ongoing marketing and renewal efforts for all benefit plans.

  • Provide support for new vendor RFPs and implementations.

  • Resolve escalated issues and ensure benefit programs are administered according to plan provisions.

  • Assist in improving efficiency in the administration of employee benefit programs in the U.S.

  • Manage Health Savings Account Funding Process with TPA.

  • Collaborate with managers, HR business partners, employees, and internal partners to ensure that all aspects of the leave of absence process are handled in an accurate, timely and organizationally consistent manner.

  • Support ongoing administration of employee benefits delivered to salaried and hourly employees.

  • Partner with in-house and external legal counsel to ensure that corporate and regulatory compliance requirements are met; prepare and deliver required government filings and prepare for compliance audits.

  • Research best practice in order to improve program delivery; measure and analyze benefits data to improve plan effectiveness, build efficiencies, and proactively enhance the delivery of the Health and Welfare function.

  • Manage third party administrator relationships; collaborate with internal stakeholders in Legal, Procurement, and Finance to assure quality and efficient service delivery.

  • Support wellbeing initiatives and ongoing communication strategy of benefits programs.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, plus 5-7 years of related, progressive work experience required. CEBS a plus.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Employee Benefits administration landscape, including working knowledge of SAP HRIS and Payroll interdependencies.

  • Must have experience with leave administration, annual enrollment, and vendor management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to interface with all levels in the Company. Team oriented, creative, and results driven.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Flexible, adaptable. Highly proactive and experienced with improving Benefits operations and delivery.
