Insight Global International Payments Implementation Manager - Hybrid ATL in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Payments Implementation Manager to lead an implementation and integration of a new payment processing system for their international technology team. If candidate is not local to Atlanta, GA, some travel to Atlanta will be required. If candidate is local to Atlanta, GA, there will be a few onsite days per month.

We are looking for an Implementation Manager, International Payments to support the deployment of international payment solutions for our quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of payment systems across global markets, ensuring seamless integration with our operational processes, point of sale system(s), and delivering a consistent, secure, and efficient payment experience for our guests.

The Implementation Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and international stakeholders to ensure that payment solutions meet regional regulatory requirements and align with the brands overall growth strategy.

They will be doing an implementation between POS and payment terminals; So we are looking for experience with the integration and then the testing. This person will need to have enough experience to explain to the team how much time we need for testing and integrating.

Key Responsibilities:

 Implementation Leadership & Strategy:

o Lead the implementation of international payment solutions, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, online and mobile payment gateways, and digital wallet integrations.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Operations, and external vendors, to ensure smooth deployment and execution of payment solutions.

o Develop and manage a comprehensive implementation plan, timelines, and key deliverables for payment solutions across multiple international markets.

 Stakeholder Management & Communication:

o Serve as the main point of contact for international markets during the implementation process, ensuring clear communication and alignment with regional teams.

o Partner with local teams to understand market-specific requirements, regulatory concerns, and customer preferences.

o Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior leadership, identifying risks, challenges, and opportunities in the implementation process.

 Regulatory & Compliance Management:

o Ensure payment solutions meet local and international regulatory requirements, including data security, fraud prevention, and PCI compliance.

o Stay updated on international payment regulations, tax implications, and cross-border transaction guidelines.

o Work with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory changes that impact payment systems.

 Vendor & Partner Coordination:

o Manage relationships with global payment processors, acquiring banks, and third-party service providers to ensure timely and successful integration.

o Coordinate testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance processes to guarantee that payment solutions function seamlessly in all markets.

o Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with payment vendors, ensuring optimal cost structure and service quality.

 Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

o Monitor the performance of implemented payment systems and processes, analyzing data to identify inefficiencies, payment failure rates, or customer pain points.

o Lead initiatives to optimize payment workflows, improve transaction speed, and reduce payment friction for customers.

o Keep abreast of payment technology advancements and recommend upgrades or new solutions to support evolving business needs.

 Training & Support:

o Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to international teams on payment systems, including transaction processes, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

o Provide ongoing support to market teams post-implementation, addressing system issues and troubleshooting payment-related problems.

 Risk Management & Issue Resolution:

o Identify and mitigate potential risks in payment operations, such as fraud, data breaches, or currency fluctuations.

o Develop and implement escalation procedures for resolving critical payment issues in a timely manner.

Compensation:

$75/hr to $85/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in payment systems implementation, ideally within a quick-service restaurant (QSR), food and beverage, or hospitality industry.

 Proven success in managing international payment solutions and working with global payment processors, acquiring banks, and vendors.

 In-depth knowledge of POS systems, payment gateways, digital wallets, and cross-border payment solutions.

 Familiarity with global payment regulations, data security standards (PCI-DSS), and compliance frameworks.

 Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, particularly in navigating complex international markets.

 Strong analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

 PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus. Experience with payments in emerging markets or high-growth international regions.

 Understanding of currency conversion, payment localization, and fraud prevention in international markets.

 Knowledge of QSR industry payment needs and customer behaviors. null
