Community Engagement Specialist

Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated Community Engagement Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our connection with the community we serve. You will be responsible for developing and implementing creative strategies to engage residents, stakeholders, and community partners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement plan

• Organize and manage a variety of community events and outreach programs

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and residents

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the organization and the community

• Identify and address community needs and concerns

• Develop and distribute engaging communication materials (print and digital)

• Manage social media presence and online community engagement

• Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts (may vary depending on the organization)

• Track and analyze data to measure the success of community engagement initiatives

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Community Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or a similar field

• Proven ability to develop and implement creative and effective engagement strategies

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

• Proficiency in social media and online communication tools

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A passion for community building and a commitment to social justice (may vary depending on the organization)
