ABM Industries CMMS Technology Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Overview

Working as a member of the Information Technology team, the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Technology Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily support of the CMMS applications. This role will partner with business and technical teams to ensure the CMMS application is available for the business, troubleshoot system issues and process tickets logged in ServiceNow. In addition, the CMMS Technology Analyst will assist with the deployment of new releases / hot fixes, defect resolution, user setup & maintenance and other key system support needs for the CMMS applications.

Location: Remote

Pay: $77,000 – $110,000

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Primary support individual for the CMMS applications

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs to ensure the system is configured correctly for all active users

  • Address user access and provisioning inquiries

  • Process system issue tickets via email and/or ServiceNow incident tickets for the Alliance application

  • Partner with System Vendor support team to remedy logged issue tickets

  • Attend defect status with CMMS to understand SLAs for tickets and provide updates to the requester

  • Monitor system maintenance and hot fix schedule to review upcoming releases to the CMMS applications

  • Coordinate with the business to assess business impact and create detailed test plan

  • Ensure the change control process is followed for each change

  • Conduct regression testing and receive business signoff

  • Collaborate with the development team to address interface questions and/or issues between the CMMS and Financial Management applications

  • Collaborate with internal audit and vendors to ensure proper change control processes are being followed and provide required documentation upon request

  • Monitor Teams Support Site and group email inbox for system inquiries

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Relevant business/technical degree (Information Technology Preferred)

  • 3-5 years or more of hands-on experience with supporting CMMS applications.

  • Strong expertise and deep understanding of the CMMS application

  • Strong expertise and deep understanding of typical CMMS process flows

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Highly organized

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making acumen

  • Ability to multi-task and operate in a dynamic working environment

  • Displays positive mindset and collaborates well with stakeholders

  • Good presentation skills; to assist with system overviews with new users
