MacStadium Business Development Representative in Atlanta, Georgia

What we need:

We are transforming our marketing efforts to drive growth and we are looking to add a Business Development Representative to drive customer acquisition in our marketing team. This position will work closely with our marketing, sales, and product teams to drive net new logo acquisitions for MacStadium. The Lead Development Specialist is also responsible for driving sales pipeline and screen potential customers who would benefit from our Mac cloud services solution.

Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.  As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the qualifying process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up account executives for success. We are looking for a quick learner who has strong communication & organizational skills with an ability to succinctly showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing, this hybrid role based out of our headquarters office at Piedmont Center in Atlanta, GA near the corner of Piedmont and Lenox. 

What you will be doing:

  • Utilize MarTech and sales tools to serve as first line of follow up on all inbound inquiries, leads and generating new sales opportunities

  • Follow marketing’s guidelines for organizing, distributing, and reporting on new leads

  • Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services

  • Build trusting relationships with the sales team and prospects to increasingly properly qualify leads as real sales opportunities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives

  • Report to marketing & sales on weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

    What Skills and Experience you need to have:

  • 2 - 3 years’ marketing or technical sales experience

  • Great communication and organizational skills

  • Exceptional at multi-tasking and prioritizing work initiatives

  • Ability to overcome objections

  • Driven personality and can-do attitude

  • Salesforce knowledge and expertise
