We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Atlanta, Georgia. The Accounting Manager will be instrumental in overseeing a range of accounting functions, managing communication with various departments, and handling a significant sales tax project.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the year-end tasks and internal audit processes

• Conduct monthly close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Handle account reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of financial data

• Manage the treasury inbox, facilitating effective communication with Accounts Payable and vendors

• Collaborate with various departments to streamline and improve accounting processes

• Apply your tax experience to a significant sales tax project

• Utilize accounting software systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce to manage financial data

• Supervise the onboarding process for new staff accountants

• Oversee the operations of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct regular auditing and billing functions to maintain financial integrity.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Proficiency in Billing Functions

• Familiarity with NetSuite

• Experience in Reconciliations

• Ability to manage a team and lead by example

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
