ADVANCED HCS LLC RN weekend Nurse Supervisor -Athens in ATHENS, Texas
Job Purpose: Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department. Maintains quality clinical care for residents/patients in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility.

Schedule job assignments | | | and develop Nursing Unit | | | priorities. May orientate new | | | staff, and participate in | | | recruitment and selection of | | | nursing staff, communicate | | | policies, assist and coach as | | | needed. Monitor work assignments, | | | provide feedback, evaluate | | | performance and redirect and | | | discipline as needed. | | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Nursing Care Function: | | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Plan and deliver care to patients | | | requiring long-term or | | | rehabilitative care. These duties | | | will be performed in compliance | | | with federal, state and local | | | regulations. | | | | | | | | | | | | Manage facility unit through | | | experienced leadership and | | | communication with the Director | | | of Nursing overseeing staff and | | | patient care | | | | | | | | | | | | Prepare and review medical | | | records and nurse's notes, and | | | assess residents to observe and | | | evaluate their physical and | | | emotional status. Monitor | | | resident activity, evaluate | | | nursing care in accordance with | | | professional standards, and | | | provide nursing care according to | | | physician's orders, care plans, | | | established standards and | | | facility policies. Coordinate and | | | assist or prepare for new | | | admissions, | | | | | | transfers, and discharge of | | | residents.
