Currently, we are seeking to hire an experienced Sea Logistics Trade Specialist for Intra Europe, Asia & Europe-Africa.

Your Role

As a Sea Logistics Trade Specialist at Kuehne Nagel, you provide practical support to the tasks and deliverables of the team within the specified trade geographic scope. This includes the management, evaluation, and publishment of all the Service Price contracts, acquire, compile, and maintain trade reports and statistics for analysis and decision making. You will be responsible for completing the daily processing of Freight contracts, support the Trade manager and team by providing, business performance reporting and measurements, Contract components reports including but not limited to Financial compensations, ancillary costs agreed per contract and handle pricing disputes associated with contracted services

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure Global Pricing Tariffs life and accuracy through Contract Management /Systems update /Weekly overview Guideline Rate sheet. Ensure completeness and accuracy of SeaRates database elements.

• Maintain trade trackers, publications, newsletters, and trade communication archives.

• BO reporting system trade responsible (Creation of Reports on demand and maintenance)

• Assure carriers service quality and intervene to address specific problems in support of operation.

• Provide trade volume performance for finance accruals use.

• Resolve carrier contract disputes of the countries with Formulate timely and accurate responses to Global RFQs

• Care taking of bunker formulas and rate adjustments (index)

• Assists the trade/business development managers in providing statistical data on market trends for the assigned region.

• Track, measure, and analyze commercial metrics specific to the trade region.

• Support digital ecosystem initiatives to streamline processes improvement efficiencies.

• Performs other related duties as assigned to supportthe trade/business development managers daily activities.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Shipping or Logistics

• At least five (5) years relevant international experience

• Very good knowledge of freight forwarding ,import and export, LCL and FCL

• Solid MS Office applications experience and skills, especially Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

• Spoken German would be a plus
