The role holder will provide support to the Business Continuity Manager on the oversight of the Business Continuity Management program across the Group, in terms of governance, direction, assurance, and other administrative related activities. This includes the provision of consistent analysis, planning, reporting, and monitoring of the Business Continuity activities. The role holder will be actively engaged in the implementation of any global initiatives and projects and will support all business plan activities to enable Mondelez manage an unforeseen event in the corporate offices and plants.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Support in developing and maintaining the global business continuity strategy and framework for corporate offices and plants.

  • Support the monitoring of controls, risks, resilience issues and open actions.

  • Liaise with global, regional and local teams to assess and identify potential risks and threats to business operations

  • Assist in the updating of the Business Continuity Management policies, procedures, guidelines, manuals etc.

  • Support the Business Impact Analysis review and the development and implementation of the Business Continuity Plans.

  • Support the preparation and execution of the tabletop Business Continuity Exercises across the Group.

  • Assist in training workshops and support the development of the Business Continuity Awareness program, ensuring employees are familiar with the Business Continuity Management Standards.

  • Support the Business Continuity Management projects and initiatives.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the readiness and resilience of our business processes in the face of potential disruptions.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate collaboration in business continuity efforts.

  • Support to conduct regular drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with CTO teams to ensure the integration of disaster recovery plans into the overall business continuity framework.

  • Oversight regular Disaster Recovery rehearsals to ensure the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans.

  • Monitor and stay informed about emerging threats and trends that may impact business continuity.

  • Support to develop reports, dashboards, and another similar mechanism to track and report on program metrics.

  • Support in the governance activities, reports, presentations etc.

More about this role

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Proven experience 3 + years in Business Continuity and/or Operational Resilience with a focus on global operations.

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Business Continuity best practices.

  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, operational risk and business impact analysis.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to business continuity (e.g., ISO 22301).

  • Experience with the use of business continuity management software.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Risk Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.

  • Professional certifications in business continuity management, such as CBCP, MBCI or BCI, are highly desirable.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
