Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update accounting records and files. Analyze budgets and create financial reports.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, handle accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payment of bills.
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Budget Preparation: Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking against budget.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax filing.
Lease Renewals: Assist with updating lease renewals in compliance with HUD and affordable housing regulations.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma is required, but an associate’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar role, especially within property management, is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with HUD and managing affordable housing portfolios is required.
Salary: up to $55,000 per year
