Job Title: Fitter

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Fitter with 1-2+ years of experience in blueprint reading, ideally within a weld shop, to interpret weld call-outs. The role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, reading tape measures, and interpreting diagrams/work instructions. Responsibilities include using shop drawings and measuring tools to lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, ensuring all fabricated components meet and exceed quality requirements for welders.

Pay: $18-$24/hr

Shift: 1st shift 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime available.

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE at least 1+ years of fitting experience in a manufacturing industry

  • Must have experience working with blueprints

  • Hand and power tools

  • Must be able to read a tape measure

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM in an industrial manufacturing environment.
