Nestle Supply Planner (Retail) - Maternity Cover in Milano, Italy

Position Summary

In this role you will support end to end supply for a portfolio of POS by managing a broad range of supply chain processes, such as identifying correct store inventory levels ensuring our retail customers get the right products at the right time, as well as working with internal customers to drive accuracy in our sales forecasts to ensure appropriate replenishment volumes.

A day in the life of Retail Supply Planner

  • Working for creating and monitoring detailed supply plans matching customer service level ambition with optimum working capital and lowest possible cost

  • Supporting to identify service level issues in relation to assigned product portfolio and BTQs, avoiding customer stock-outs or excess of stocks, ensuring business goals are achieved and driving timely & accurate supply communications

  • Working closely with Demand Planning Team to improve forecast at SKU/location level

  • Building strong relationship with major stakeholders within and outside Supply Chain

  • Learning how to manage phase in / phase out process execution from a planning perspective and how to optimize retail inventory levels- minimize excess & obsolete inventory for assigned product portfolio

  • Monitoring Supply Chain KPIs and consequently take corrective actions to optimize retail inventory levels also managing Replenishment Tools settings;

What will make you successful

  • Master’s degree in engineering or mathematics

  • 2 years of experience or more in Supply Chain, preferred roles Retail Planning (or similar)

  • Positive forward-looking mindset, problem solving attitude and team spirit

  • Approaches challenges with a data-driven and solution-orientation mindset

  • Good communication skills

  • Fluent in English and Italian

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
