Position Summary:

The cross functional architect will cover all the aspects of cloud data analytical solution from end to end. Focusing on our common technology foundations. In this architect role you will ensure that application management service partners can onboard, build and sustain high value data & analytics solutions and subsequently operate these solutions in a safe and reliable way. You will ensure the Nestlé architectural best practices, standards and frameworks are adopted or adjusted to meet the business needs. You will work closely will a cross functional team of architects, data engineers, product managers and other stakeholders.

A Day in the Life of a Data Solution Architect:

• Evangelize and practice Nestlé Data Architectural framework.

• Work with partners to understand the partner requirements and their level of alignment with Nestlé architecture.

• Represent partners in Nestlé internal discussions and Nestlé in the partner-oriented discussions.

• Draft an architectural / design document for the solution to align partner practice and Nestlé architecture.

• Resolve potential architecture conflicts and close the gaps in development practice between partners, Nestlé implementational teams and Nestlé data architecture team.

• Proven Data / Solution architecture experience in Cloud environments, preferably Snowflake.

• DataOps: How to manage development lifecycle of data product in technical terms.

• Data modeling practices: How to deliver a comprehensive data model for a data product.

• Data engineering with modern cloud environment preferably DBT. Python and ADF.

• Cloud Data Security best practices and methodologies.

• RDBMS and specifically Snowflake performance tuning Experience.

• Support for ML Solutions, data analysis solutions, consumption of data from cloud warehouse by end user tools.
