JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Health Information Coder is responsible for coding and charge review, for billing purposes, all diagnoses and procedures on inpatient and outpatient records. They are also responsible for identifying reportable conditions and information to other Departments within the facility. Requirements: -Must be RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA within 9 months of hire.
