Job Title: Industrial Forklift Operator

Job Description

The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various types of heavy duty equipment for the processing of bulk materials for soil and mulch. This position receives close supervision related to specific work activities, assignments, method, etc.; usually receives frequent observation/inspection over job activities; instructions are detailed and assignments are typically short-term. Main duties include operating equipment such as Fork Lift, Front End Loader, Grinder to process or to move raw materials to designated areas, maintaining and repairing equipment when necessary, performing daily safety and maintenance checks, conducting basic preventative maintenance on equipment assigned, operating equipment in accordance with company procedures, and maintaining proper paperwork and meeting production quotas and inventory records. The role also includes other duties assigned by site management.
