Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for unloading and stacking roll stock and paper material using lifting devices. You will operate sit-down forklifts and clamp trucks, manage inbound and outbound logistics, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. You will also utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for cycle counts and inventory control, and perform quality control tasks.
Responsibilities
Unload and stack roll stock and paper material using lifting devices.
Operate sit-down forklifts and clamp trucks.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including loading and unloading trucks and rail cars.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for cycle counts and inventory control.
Perform quality control to ensure product standards.
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using clamp equipment.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in the number and types of products loaded.
Keep accurate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
Essential Skills
Working knowledge of supply and inventory management systems.
Proficiency in computer skills.
Forklift operation, including clamp forklift experience.
Experience in material handling, picking, packing, and packaging.
Proficiency with RF scanners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to keep accurate inventory records and reports.
Experience in logistics and warehouse operations.
