We are hiring a Center Director for Karen's Place Maternity Center. The Center Director is responsible for the supervision of the residential staff and persons served/clients. The Center Director consults with the Director of Residential Services as needed. The Center Director maintains close communication with the clinical staff, provides any information relevant to the program’s operation, and assist in developing and modifying the program. The Center Director is responsible for providing 24-hour management of the facility. The Center  Director is also responsible for maintaining the company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises all residential staff members and activities to maintain the highest standards of  quality and effectiveness 

  • Coordinates with the residential coordinator and residential counselors. 

  • Organizes professional development and training in individual therapy, diagnosis and assessment, group therapy and charting/documentation. 

  • Monitors and assesses staff morale and develops ongoing plan to build team spirit and continuity. 

  • Participates in the recruitment and interview process to determine the appropriateness of prospective staff members. 

  • Complete Annual Reviews with employees. 

  • Implements plans for performance improvement. 

  • Provides for staff development (i.e., supervision, education, etc.) 

  • Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate interdepartmental sharing of information. 

  • Develops and implements staff schedules. 

  • Build positive relationships with staff and physicians. 

  • Works collaboratively with the Senior Management Team. 

  • Maintains an effective and efficient daily staffing pattern within budgetary constraints.

    Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • High School Diploma or GED 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred  

  • A minimum of 2 years administrative and management experience preferred

  • Application of Continuous Quality Improvement/ Performance Improvement philosophy and  ability to develop organizational strategy.

    Other Qualifications to be Considered:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system
