Job Summary
Zachry is seeking experienced Oilers and Lubrication Technicians to work on Heavy Construction Equipment projects in the Asheville, NC area. Zachry provides safe, secure, and productive opportunities for motivated employees. Zachry does not provide a drive-home truck for this position.
Essential Functions
Be responsible and report to work on time.
Produce clean and accurate work.
Produce high-quality and cost-effective work results.
Go the extra mile to take high-quality and clean oil samples for lab analysis.
Conduct oil analysis and read results.
Maintain accurate record keeping of all daily tasks.
Keep work area and machines clean and free of excessive oil and grease.
Perform visual inspections on equipment and provide written reports of conditions and deficiencies.
Service a wide variety of construction equipment, including cranes, pavers, dirt equipment, plant equipment, and other types of machinery.
Work safely and follow all instructions related to company policies and regulatory agencies during the performance of duties.
Flexibility to work night shift and weekends as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
Must possess a Class A or B CDL with X endorsement and Hazmat in order to drive a service truck. Must have a clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
2+ years experience in the Heavy Equipment Maintenance industry or an educational degree in Diesel-related technical courses is preferred.
Have own hand tools (up to 1 1/2” wrenches and sockets) and storage necessary to perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment (larger tools supplied by Zachry as necessary).
Knowledge of oil analysis and ability to read results.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and capable of following directions and effectively working in a team environment.
Good computer skills are a plus.
Good mechanical skills are a plus.
