Job Summary and Qualifications
Major Responsibilities: Establishes and manages Preventive Maintenance Programs to maintain building, grounds, and equipment. Coordinates Maintenance activities with other Departments in order to ensure safe and efficient operations of the Hospital. Manages the procurement/generation of all utilities, distribution systems, and equipment. Recommends development of physical plant and reviews/approves plans of construction. Acts as liaison with contractors, architects, engineers, and material and equipment suppliers. Maintains records in compliance with all regulatory agencies. Prepares required departmental budgets. Actively participates in regulatory survey events Leads environment of care efforts, including guidance of Facility Safety Officer Provide direct oversight for personnel including upholding behavioral competencies Active in departmental quality and performance improvement activities Serves and participates on committees and task forces as required All other duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities, Business, or related field OR
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), OR
Enrolled to obtain Bachelor Degree OR CHFM within 1 year Required
Required Experience: 5 Years of Plant Operations Experience. Hospital experience with knowledge of Joint Commission standards and ASHE certification.
Preferred Experience: Emergency Management Experience preferred
