Key Responsibilities

As an Analytics Engineer, you will be entrusted with critical tasks that ensure flawless data operations and analytics. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to support data integration from various sources.

• Develop and optimize data models and storage solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.

• Implement and manage cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks ) to support data storage, processing, and analytics.

• Collaborate with data analysts and collaborators to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs in GitHub and other tools.

• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing standard methodologies for data governance and monitoring.

• Solve and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

• Stay ahead of emerging trends and engineering technologies and cloud platforms.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience in data engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency with SQL and experience with database management systems.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with data processing technologies like Databricks , AWS or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, R , or Scala .

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $90,000.00–$120,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
