MISSION OF PROGRAM/PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

On this program we operate maintain and enhance CBPs suite of targeting and analysis systems supporting law enforcement activities at all 328 Ports of Entry along the borders between Ports of Entry and at strategic international locations in 50 countries to help CBP protect national security public safety and facilitate lawful trade and travel.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented Flutter Developer Mobile App Developer to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career. The right candidate will bring an interest in applying his or her talents to national and homeland security problems. The Flutter based Mobile App Developer will design develop and implement Flutter Apps and Plugins for Android and iOS to support business requirements/logic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow life cycle methodologies and develop/unit test Flutter Apps Widgets and Plugins using Dart as part of an enterprise cross-platform mobile team.

• Resolve technical issues through debugging analysis research and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Support building and distributing iOS and Android mobile apps through a general understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development and deployment.

• Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand and document requirements in JIRA then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations.

• Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews and document the design according to the Governments system lifecycle methodology.

  Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

• 10 years of relevant experience related to position duties

• Proven experience as a Flutter developer with good portfolio of mobile apps developed using Flutter framework.

• Proficiency in the Dart programming language

• Swift

• Java Android

• Experience developing Plugins for Flutter Apps

• Some experience with the React Native framework

  Desired Skills and Experience:

• Understanding Mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Strong initiative: must be able to take a high-level requirement ask questions/seek clarifications and get the job done

• Good written/oral communication skills and problem-solving skills ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels

• Experience working in high velocity fast paced teams and environments

• Experience working individually and collaboratively in response to changing mission needs or requirements

  CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: CBP BI clearance to start 12 week turnaround average

  LOCATION: Hybrid with on-site Kingstowne VA and/or Ashburn VA visits 1x a week and for mission needs.
