Our client in Ashburn VA is immediately hiring for a Civil Drafter to join their team. This is a full time permanent role and pay will vary based on years of experience. Qualified candidates will have an interview scheduled within 48 hours of resume submission.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency with AutoCAD as it related to Civil Engineering

• Degree or certification in Computer Aided Drafting and Design OR related experience

• Ability to assist Project Managers and Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems-

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change

• Desire to work in a team environment

• Experience with Storm water Management Design is a plus

• Experience putting together site plans is a plus

• Experience with Grading is a plus

As one of the largest multi-disciplined consulting engineering firms in Northern Virginia, we specialize in Data Centers and Land Development (Commercial and Residential) projects. The Civil Engineering Technician will design Industrial, Commercial, and residential subdivision layouts under the guidance of a Licensed Professional Engineer and as a member of the project team. This role is essential to help manage our significant backlog of work and to support our overworked team.
