California State Parks is hiring Maintenance Aides to work in the Facilities program area in the Central Valley District. Maintenance Aides will work under the Park Maintenance Supervisor to assist with janitorial and semi-skilled maintenance duties. Multiple reporting locations including, Calaveras Big Trees State Park in Arnold, CA and Columbia State Historic Park in Columbia, CA. Housing is not available. Typical working hours are 0700 to 1730 and can vary between 8 hour shift to 10 hour shifts depending on time of year. Employees may work weekends, odd or irregular hours, and holidays. Work is seasonal work allowing up to 1,500 hours per year and is dependent on funding.
