Blue Origin LLC Dimensional Inspector II (Weeknight shift) in Arlington, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of specialists, you will inspect development and flight vehicle components for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of providing accurate data on tight tolerance high value components to determine configuration per engineering designs. Special Mentions Relocation provided Shifts available: Week night shift Monday- Thursday: 2:00 PM- 12:30 AM (training during day shift) Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Handle preparations for parts requiring non-contact inspection scanning methods Inspection Software Quality Assurance Program, setup and operate Blue Light inspection system Perform Manual Layout on granite table of complex hardware Using design data to inspect additive manufactured, machined and received components Perform first article, in-process & final inspections Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data Document, track and complete nonconformance reports Provide inspection time estimates Maintain and supervise inspection equipment calibrations Process improvement Maintain configuration control on files and job records Safely work within an industrial environment Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in dimensional Outstanding blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 or 2009 or 2018 standard. Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components. Strong computer software skills Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Suite Programs Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ATOS Professional/GOM Inspect software Experience with 3D scanning/Bluelight/ATOS or similar CMM, Faro Arm, V-Stars, Laser Tracker or similar very helpful Experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components preferred Aerospace quality inspection experience CAD software knowledge Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware. Compensation range for on site CA applicants is $24.62-$34.46 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
