The Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS) Talent Acquisition organization at Amazon is seeking an experienced Sourcing Recruiter to join our dynamic organization. As a Sourcing Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top talent to support the growth and success of our business. Our team is looking for someone who has:

• Leveraged Boolean search, LinkedIn, and other sourcing tools to find high-caliber candidates
• Engaged with potential candidates through personalized outreach
• Partnered closely with Hiring Managers to understand job requirements and the ideal candidate profile
• Provided strategic sourcing recommendations to improve the overall quality of the candidate pipeline
• Maintained accurate records and reporting on sourcing activities and metrics
Key job responsibilities
Sourcing Planning: Analyze data to set milestones and develop differentiated sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines, both fungible and niche. Leverage backwards-mapped sourcing plans to set clear expectations.
Stakeholder Partnership: Expertly manage partnerships with hiring managers, aligning on candidate profiles and minimizing churn in job requirements.
Recruiting Strategy: Use data to make recommendations and influence the overall hiring strategy, such as determining when to utilize pod hiring vs one-off hiring approaches.
Program Management: Execute sourcing plans for hiring efforts in parallel, ensuring an efficient and effective top-of-funnel
Hiring Team Engagement & Education: Take a lead role in optimizing the phone screening process, creating templates and training hiring teams on best practices.
A day in the life
As a Sourcing Recruiter for FGBS, your days are filled with a dynamic mix of activities. You start with a team check-in to align on hiring priorities, then dive into your sourcing toolkit - crafting Boolean searches, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, and identifying top talent for a variety of roles across the organization.
Throughout the day, you balance your time between proactively reaching out to potential candidates, nurturing your existing pipeline, and collaborating with Hiring Managers to provide updates and strategic sourcing insights. You also work closely with your recruiting business partners to deliver for your business. This cross-functional partnership is key to understanding the business needs and closing candidates.
You use data-driven insights to analyze your pipeline and inform your sourcing strategy, helping you build a robust and diverse candidate pool. You stay focused on continuous improvement, experimenting with new sourcing techniques and contributing to the refinement of team processes. This can also include sourcing for exciting networking events, career fairs and other special hiring initiatives.
By the end of the day, you've made tangible progress in building a strong and diverse candidate pipeline, knowing that your efforts are instrumental in helping Amazon attract the best talent across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of technical recruiting in high volume and high hiring bar environment experience
Experience building candidate sourcing and closing strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $138,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
