Overview Tecolote Research is seeking a Contract Management Specialist to assist with a DHS Components contract close-out support activities. This individual will assist the Government in close out support activities that are associated with contracts being awarded, retired, or transitions. The individual must be a Government Contracts Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Responsibilities

• Perform contract close out activities to include, but not limited to the following:
  • Provide support with preparing contract close out packages.
  • Provide support with audit preparations.
  • Assist with final invoice preparations.
  • Assist with burn rate trackers.
  • Assist with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) review/analysis.
  • Assist with program requirement changes.
  • Provide support with weekly transition reports.

Skills Required

A SME is expected to provide:

• Strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff
• Detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
• Consultations with client to define need or problem
• Supervision of studies
• Management of survey efforts to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
• US citizenship required
• 10+ years professional work experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability

Education

• Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
