Job Title: Brand Marketing Associate

Location: Arlington, VA

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hr.

What’s the Job?

  • Execute annual marketing and business strategy for specific brand(s).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) to ensure executional excellence.

  • Develop a deep understanding of brand consumer demographics, psychographics, and behavioral drivers.

  • Analyze data to optimize plans and commercial investment decisions.

  • Own P&L to meet key business KPIs: revenue, profit, market share, and brand health.

  • Lead cross-functional efforts for portfolio and value chain optimization.

  • Oversee monthly operating processes for business performance and accurate forecasting.

  • Track sales, consumption, and consumer trends to identify gaps/opportunities.

  • Manage consumer marketing budget with efficient investment strategies.

  • Ensure accurate demand forecasts and manage inventory.

  • Work with internal teams and external agencies on marketing strategies and plans.

  • Identify optimal engagement strategies and campaign structures.

  • Ensure cultural relevance of brand identity and activations.

  • Activate brand’s nutrition health and wellness proposition in communications.

  • Partner with Sales and Customers to execute strategy in an omni-channel environment.

  • Analyze and optimize promotional programs.

  • Support packaging changes due to product, graphic, and/or formula changes.

What’s Needed?

  • 3-5 years of marketing or brand management experience.

  • 3+ years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or agency partners.

  • Experience in marketing communication projects including digital and media strategies.

  • Proficiency in leveraging data, research, and trends to understand consumer behavior (IRI, Circana, or Nielsen knowledge required).

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with creative solution development.

  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Knowledge of budget control methods, policies, and procedures.

  • Adaptability to change and ability to deliver results independently.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
