What You Will Do :

Guidehouse is currently supporting a large Federal law enforcement agency who is modernization its applications with digital approaches, infusing innovation and driving use of data through complex modelling. Guidehouse's support is within the scope of Human Resource Management. We are seeking skilled Project Managers to work directly with our technical teams and the executive level leadership.

The person in this role will perform duties within the following areas:

  • Responsible for leading a team and interfacing with the client on a day-to-day basis.

  • Provide technical direction for medium or large projects of high complexity within prescribed periods and budget constraints, and shall:

  • Contribute to the identification and development of new and continuing areas of study, evaluation, and analysis.

  • Formulate proposals for original studies and analysis.

  • Facilitate idea generation and provide recommendations for new programs, policies, or approaches.

  • Lead in the application of critical thinking to help assess CBP’s challenges, inform its decisions, and improve its decision-making abilities and capacity.

  • Provides overall management, schedule, timeline, staffing, and resources, of specific task order(s).

  • Ensures that technical and financial requirements are met and all aspects of solutions and schedules for specific tasks are implemented in a timely and effective manner.

  • Supervises multiple concurrent projects as assigned.

  • Interacts with senior managers assigned to the engagement, and is responsible for decisions made with respect to any technical or administrative matters encountered.

  • Responsible for allocating resources among assigned tasks, and serves as a key client liaison for both business and technical matters.

  • Meets with client regularly, if not daily, to ensure work meets or exceeds client objectives.

  • Proposes and implements creative methods to complete work effectively and efficiently.

  • Responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of products and services provided and the issuance of final project deliverables.

  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communications skills; reviews work papers and oversees the drafting of reports.

What You Will Need :

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • FOUR (4) or more years of experience in project management

  • Ability to perform independent research, verify facts rapidly, and produce on tight deadlines

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • An active Public Trust clearance

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience supporting a Law Enforcement agency

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
