Position Summary:

We are looking for an intermediate to expert levelData Scientist,withexperienceprocessing and analyzing large datasets, who will use their technical knowledge,experience, and customer-centric focus to create and deliver world-class analytic processes,scriptingsolutions, anddatamodeling content. This is a mission-driven opportunity to support the DoD andIntelligence Community.

TheData Scientistwill coordinate with our clients within anSAP/CAPenvironment to understand questions and issues involving the clients unique datasets, then determine the best method and approach to createdata-driven solutions within program guidelines. This position will be relied upon as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), and be expected to lead/assist in the development ofautomatedprocesses, architectdata sciencesolutions, develop/refinePythonscripts,conduct analysis, useavailable toolsto analyzedata, remain adaptable to mission requirements, and identify patterns to help solve some of the complex problems that face the DoD andIntelligence Community(IC).

Responsibilities

• Work with largestructured/unstructureddatain a modeling and analytical environment to define and create streamline processes in the evaluation of unique datasets and solve challenging intelligence issues
• Lead and participate in the architectural design of solutions and refinement of pre-existing processes
• Work with Customer Stakeholders, Program Managers, and Product Owners to translate road map features into components/tasks, estimate timelines, identify resources, suggest solutions, and recognize possible risks
• Use exploratorydataanalysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complexdata
• Combine applied mathematics, programming skills, analytical techniques, anddatato provide impactful insights for decision makers
• Research and implement optimization models, strategies, and methods to informdatamanagement activities and analysis
• Applybig dataanalytic tools to large, diverse sets ofdatato deliver impactful insights and assessments
• Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality
• Help build high-performing teams; mentor team members providing development opportunities to increase their technical skills and knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• RequiresTS/SCIClearancewith the ability to attainSAP/CAPAccess
• 3+ years ofData Scienceexperiencewith BachelorsDegreeindata scienceor related technical field (6+ years of relevantdata scienceexperiencein lieu of aBachelorsDegree)
• 5+ years ofexperiencesupporting IC operations
• 4+ years ofexperienceutilizingPython; possessing expert level knowledge and application ofPythonto manipulate and analyze structured/unstructureddata
• Expert in using popularPythonmodules to includePandas,Matplotlib, andNumpy
• Demonstratedexperienceindatamining and developing/maintaining/manipulating databases
• Demonstratedexperiencein identifying potential systems enhancements, new capabilities, concept demonstrators, and capability business cases
• DemonstratedexperienceusingGOTSdataprocessing and analytics capabilities tomodernizeanalytic methodologies
• Data VisualizationExperiencewhich may include Matrix Analytics, Network Analytics, GraphingDatathat assist the analytical workforce in generating common operational pictures depicting fused intelligence and information to support informal assessments and finished products
• DemonstratedexperienceusingCOTSstatisticalsoftware (Map Large,Tableau,MatLab) for advancedstatisticalanalysis of operational tools anddata visualizationwhich enables large datasets to be interrogated and allows for patterns, relationships, and anticipatory behavioral likelihoods that may not be apparent using traditional single discipline means
• Knowledge of advancedanalytic methodologies, andexperiencein implementing and executing those methodologies to enable customer satisfaction
• Demonstratedexperiencein directing activities of highly skilled technical and analytical teams responsible for developing solutions to highly complex analytical/intelligence problems
• Experienced in conductingmulti-INTand technology specific research to support mission operations
• Possess effective communications skills; capable of providing highlydetailed information in an easy to understand format

• PossessMastersdegreeinData Scienceor related technical field
• Experiencedeveloping and working withArtificial IntelligenceandMachine Learning(AI/ML)
• Demonstratedexperienceof advanced programming techniques, using one or more of the following: HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects,Python,Model Builder,Oracle,SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics,ArcGISDesktop,ArcGISServer, Arc SDE, ArcIMS.
• Experienceusing NET,Python, C++, and/or JAVA programming for web interface development and geodatabase development.
• Experiencebuilding and maintaining databases of GEOINT,SIGINT, or OSINTdatarelated to the area of interest needs.
