Aeyon Data Analyst, Level III #24119 in Arlington, Virginia

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Aeyon seeks a highly skilled, experienced Level III Data Analyst to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and operational effectiveness through rigorous financial management, audit response, internal controls evaluation, and policy development. This requirement will support the Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics priorities for modernizing business processes to support an effective internal control program and improve external reporting requirements. This program is a centralized, nationwide program that is responsible for meeting the requirements outlined in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123 (OMB A-123), OMB Circular A-136 (OMB A-136), the Chief Financial Officer's Act of 1990 and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management and Integrity: Oversee the extraction, analysis, and maintenance of iNFADS data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Marine Corps standards. Manage significant data uploads and batch updates to streamline processes for installations.

• Discrepancy Resolution: Coordinate with internal and external sources to identify and rectify data discrepancies. Adjust data extraction methodologies to meet evolving requirements, maintaining data integrity across the iNFADS system.

• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports on data analysis findings, system enhancements, and discrepancy resolutions. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all data changes and justifications to support audit readiness.

• Experience supporting IT Development (SDLC - Technical documentation, requirements, design, testing, change management or deployment) or creating/maintaining databases or data and analytics experience (creation of data visualizations, data analytic reports, data cleansing scripts, and processes or performing technical data analytics) for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees.

Additional Responsibilities:

• System Enhancement: Collaborate with IT support and system developers to suggest and implement improvements to iNFADS functionalities. Participate in the Change Control Board to evaluate and test new system changes, ensuring they meet operational needs.

• Technical Support and Advice: Provide expert and technical support to Marine Corps installation personnel and MCICOM GF staff on iNFADS-related issues. Document interactions meticulously for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

• Training Support: Assist in developing and delivering training programs for iNFADS end-users. Adapt training materials for classroom and virtual environments, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of users.

• Collaboration and Communication: Maintain effective communication with the NITC and other stakeholders to ensure seamless user access provisioning and promptly address any iNFADS-related concerns.

• Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities to design and implement solutions for data quality, integration, and analytics challenges.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory: Six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited United States college or university in a field of study relevant to his/her professional role.
