Job Description
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for aCertified TEMPEST Technical Representative (CTTR)to serve as the primary point of contact for TEMPEST certification authorities, and, communicating effectively to facilitate the certification process.

A week in the life of a Certified TEMPEST Technical Representative (CTTR):
Develop and implement TEMPEST certification procedures and protocols in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
Keep abreast of updates and changes to TEMPEST standards and regulations, providing guidance and recommendations for maintaining compliance.
Conduct TEMPEST inspections and assessments of equipment, facilities, and processes to identify and address any potential security vulnerabilities.
Coordinate inspections and assessments of protected distribution systems (PDS) equipment, facilities, and processes to identify and address any potential security vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to support TEMPEST certification efforts.
Document and maintain comprehensive records of TEMPEST certification activities, findings, and outcomes.
Provide training and guidance to staff members on TEMPEST security principles and best practices.
Coordinate with external teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and security, to ensure compliance with TEMPEST requirements.
Job Requirements
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
10 + years of relevant experience
Previous experience with:
Coordination with HQ NAVY SSO and SAPCO accreditation of secure facilities.
Coordination with HQ Marine Corps SSO and SAPCO for accreditation of secure facilities.
Strong knowledge of TEMPEST/1-92, 2-95, 01-02, 1-13 standards.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Intimately familiar with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and Technical Specifications processes and procedures for Military Construction (MILCON) of secure facilities.
Strong understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, external partners, and certification authorities.
Proficiency with MS Office applications.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
